This Privacy Policy explains how BEAX LLC, doing business as ELOUMI (“ELOUMI”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit eloumi.com, buy from our Store, subscribe to our emails or contact us. It also describes your rights and how to exercise them.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide:

• order details: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number (optional), products purchased and order notes;
• account details if you create an account: name, email address and password (stored as a one-way hash);
• email subscription: email address and subscription preferences;
• messages you send us, including any information you choose to include.

Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered into Stripe’s secure fields and sent directly to Stripe. We receive only limited information such as the card brand, last four digits, expiration date and billing address.

Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, approximate location derived from the IP address, and cookie or similar identifiers. See Section 6 and our Legal Notice, Terms of Use & Cookie Policy.

2. How we use information

• to process, ship and support your orders, including payments, delivery, returns and warranty claims;
• to send transactional emails such as order confirmations and shipping notices;
• to respond to your questions and requests;
• to send marketing emails if you subscribe, which you can stop at any time;
• to operate, secure and improve the website and prevent fraud;
• to comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules, and to protect our rights.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers who help us run our business and who may use it only to provide their services to us:

• Stripe (payment processing, fraud prevention and payment refunds);
• shipping carriers and fulfillment partners (to deliver your order);
• Mailchimp (email delivery for subscribers);
• website hosting, security and email providers.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our customers or ELOUMI, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale of assets.

4. Children’s privacy

ELOUMI products are made for children, but our website and Store are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@eloumi.com and we will delete it.

5. Data retention

We keep order information for as long as needed to fulfill orders, handle returns and warranty claims, and meet tax, accounting and legal requirements (generally up to seven years). Subscriber information is kept until you unsubscribe; we keep a suppression record so that we continue to honor your choice. Other information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies that are necessary for the Store to work, such as keeping items in your cart and securing checkout. Stripe uses cookies to prevent fraud. WooCommerce uses first-party cookies to record how visitors arrived at the Store (for example, the referring site), which helps us understand which channels work. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings. More details are in our Legal Notice, Terms of Use & Cookie Policy.

7. Do Not Track and opt-out preference signals

Our website does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, as there is no common industry standard for them. Because we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of; where the law requires us to honor a Global Privacy Control signal, we will do so.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:

• know what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete your personal information;
• opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising (we do not do either);
• not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

To make a request, email contact@eloumi.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We will verify your identity by matching information you provide with our records and respond within the time required by law, generally 45 days. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of the agent’s authority. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.

California residents: in the past 12 months we collected identifiers, commercial information (purchase history), limited payment information, internet activity information and approximate geolocation, for the business purposes described above, from you and from your device. We disclosed these categories to the service providers listed in Section 3. We have not sold or shared personal information. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, you may ask whether we disclosed personal information to third parties for their direct marketing; we do not.

9. Email marketing

If you subscribe, we will send you news about ELOUMI products. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to unsubscribe. Transactional emails related to your orders are sent even if you are not subscribed.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections and a payment processor certified to PCI DSS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Where information is processed

We are based in the United States. Some of our service providers may process information in other countries, in which case they are required to protect it appropriately.

12. Reviewing and updating your information

If you have an account, you can review and update your information under “My Account”. You can also email contact@eloumi.com to review or correct the information we hold.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, notify customers by email or through a notice on the website.
