Easy for small hands to pack
A wide zip opening and a roomy main compartment fit a snack box, a picture book and a comfort plush. The interior slip pocket keeps a note for the teacher or a spare pair of socks flat and easy to find.
Water bottle always within reach
Two stretchy mesh side pockets hold a kid-size bottle upright, so they can grab a drink without unzipping anything. The front zip pocket is perfect for tissues, a hair tie or a tiny treasure found at recess.
Comfortable, even on long walks
Padded straps adjust as they grow, the chest buckle keeps them from slipping off narrow shoulders, and the breathable mesh back keeps things comfortable. Reflective patches add visibility on darker winter afternoons.

When will my order arrive?
Orders ship from our U.S. stock within 1–2 business days. Standard transit then takes 2–5 business days, so most orders arrive within 7 business days. You’ll receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships.
How much is shipping?
Standard shipping is a flat $5.95 per order, and it’s free on orders of $50 or more (two backpacks qualify).
Where do you ship?
We ship to all 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C. We don’t currently ship internationally, to U.S. territories or to APO/FPO addresses. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, as long as it hasn’t shipped yet. Email contact@eloumi.com with your order number as soon as possible. If we cancel before shipment, you get a full refund.
Size & everyday use
What age is Béa for?
Béa is designed for children ages 3 to 6, roughly 37 to 46 inches tall. It’s ideal for preschool, pre-K, daycare, kindergarten pick-ups, weekend outings and sleepovers at grandma’s.
Will a standard school folder fit?
No. At 10.6 × 9.1 inches, Béa is sized for little ones, so a full-size 8.5 × 11″ folder won’t lie flat inside. Picture books, 6 × 9″ notebooks, a snack box and a small plush fit comfortably. If your child needs to carry letter-size folders every day, a larger grade-school backpack will suit them better.
Is it waterproof?
The lining is waterproof, so spills stay inside and contents are protected from a light drizzle. The corduroy exterior is not waterproof; in heavy rain, keep it under a coat or umbrella.
Does it come in other colors or animals?
Béa the giraffe is our first design, in one size. More friends are on the way in the ELOUMI collection.
Safety & care
Has Béa been safety tested?
Yes. Béa has been third-party tested to U.S. children’s product safety requirements under the CPSIA, and a Children’s Product Certificate is available on request at contact@eloumi.com.
How do I wash it?
Hand wash in cold water with a mild soap, then let it air dry completely. Please don’t machine wash, tumble dry or bleach it, as this can damage the corduroy and the padding.
Returns, warranty & payment
What if it’s not right for us?
You can return Béa within 30 days of delivery as long as it’s unused and in its original condition. Email us first and we’ll send return instructions. Return shipping is paid by the customer, and your refund goes back to your original payment method once we receive the backpack. Details in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
What does the 1-year warranty cover?
Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for one year from delivery: seams, zippers, buckles, straps and stitching. If something fails, we’ll repair it, replace it or refund it, and we pay shipping both ways. Normal wear, accidents and misuse aren’t covered. Read the full Limited Warranty.
What if my order arrives damaged or something is wrong?
Email us within 10 days of delivery with your order number and a few photos. We’ll send a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
Which payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link, plus pay-later options where eligible, all processed securely by Stripe. You can also pay by ACH or wire bank transfer: our bank details appear after you place your order, and your order ships within 1–2 business days after your payment arrives. All prices are in U.S. dollars.
